​We place great value on the education and continuous development (VDT and DTB) of our trainers and supervisors. Not only do we teach tennis, but we also emphasize the pedagogical aspect. Our teamwork is characterized by information exchange and clear goal-setting within the team and training sessions. Our top priority is to achieve the greatest possible learning success and to convey the joy of tennis. Our ideal: quality over quantity.

Jens Janssen

  • Role: Head of the Tennis School/Academy and owner of the tennis halls in Traar & Sevelen

  • Personal: Married, 2 children, resides in Düsseldorf

  • Education: Degree in International Business Management

  • Certifications: State-certified tennis coach, mental coach, fitness coach, personal wellness and fitness coach, instructor, performance center manager, athletic coach

  • Referee: DTB B-B-Oberschiedsrichter

  • Achievements as a Player:

    • European and World Champion in the Men's 30+ category

    • 2021: World No. 1 in the Men's 30+ category

    • Top 30 in the DTB Men's Open class

    • Over 10 years as a player in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga

    • Competed in the 1st Bundesliga in the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, France, and Luxembourg

    • German Champion in singles, doubles, and mixed

  • Achievements as a Coach:

    • Coach in the 1st Bundesliga (men's and women's)

    • Coach of WTA and ATP players up to the Top 50 in the world

    • Coach of 6 different German champions (women's, men's, youth)
